**Note: You must reside in Nassau/Suffolk County Long Island area in order to be considered for this role.**

Job Description

We're seeking a motivated Sales Associate to contribute to our new fence company's growth. As a Sales Associate, you'll play a crucial role in promoting and selling our fencing products and services. You'll engage with customers, provide valuable insights, and help them make informed decisions to meet their fencing needs. Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, understanding their fencing requirements and offering suitable solutions.
  2. Collaborate with the owner to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the company.
  3. Assist customers in selecting appropriate fencing products and services, providing detailed information and addressing any concerns.
  4. Build and nurture positive relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and after-sales support.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate the value of our fencing solutions to potential customers.
  6. Participate in paid sales training programs to enhance your sales skills and stay aligned with best practices.
  7. Work alongside the marketing team to promote sales campaigns and initiatives, maximizing customer engagement.
  8. Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, sales activities, and relevant information in our CRM system.
  9. Support the sales team in administrative tasks, order processing, and coordinating with other departments for seamless service delivery.
  10. Uphold the company's commitment to quality and compliance by following all relevant sales regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in home service sales or customer-facing roles is desired, with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with customers and address their needs effectively.
  3. Basic understanding of sales techniques and the ability to learn about fencing products and their benefits.
  4. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, contributing positively to the sales team's dynamics.
  5. Adaptability and willingness to learn about new products and industry developments.
  6. Comfortable with using sales tools and software to manage customer interactions and sales processes.
  7. Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  8. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales is a plus.

Must have a valid drivers license, presentable vehicle, and capable of obtaining a Suffolk County Salesman ID card.

Job Type: Contracted, Independent Contractors welcomed,

Pay: Commission range of 5-8% of sales plus added incentives for achieving growth/margin targets and 5 star reviews.
